Waste Connections Commercial Roll Off Driver in Spokane Valley, Washington
Spokane Transfer Station, a Waste Connections Company is looking for a safety conscience Roll Off Driver to join the team in Spokane Valley, Washington. Previous waste experience would be a huge plus !
Hours will be Friday -Monday 6:30am until 3:30Pm with Overtime often. Typical working week is 45-50 Hours.
Driver Rate of pay will be $28.00/HR, We are also offering a $2,000 Stay On Bonus!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position you will be operating a Roll off truck on a specified route to Deliver and Pickup up Drop Boxes.
Ability to read route tablet and service each customer identified on the Route Tablet or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift Roll off Container on and Off the Truck.
Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
A typical schedule for this position is Friday-Monday 6:30am-3:30Pm. This route typically averages about 45+ hours a week.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
Operating Truck to Deliver Roll Off Box's and Pick up Roll Off Box's.
Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class A or B CDL with Manual Endorsement and air brakes endorsement as a minimum.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with Safe Driving Habits.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Basic knowledge of truck components to complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
