Waste Connections Forklift Operator / Full Time Year Round Employment in Plainfield, Illinois
Description –
Groot Industries is looking for a safety conscious Forklift Operator to join the team at our Recycling Facility in Plainfield, IL. Typical job duties include:
Operates forklifts, front skid steer, and front-end loaders to push recyclables onto an incline belt & load recycle materials into a hopper.
Responsible for loading dump trucks and open top trailers.
Will pick up garbage, clean machines, and direct traffic.
Ensure proper care & performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.
Other duties as required

Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Experience operating a forklift and other light equipment
